Fashion Fridays – The Style Team Play Dress Up With The Top 4
Original Article: The X-Factor USA (Official)
Back to Latest News! Just one more week until the big THE X FACTOR finale and everyone is bringing their A game, including our style team – style architect June Ambrose , hair designer Ken Paves , and makeup artist Kristofer Buckle . Once again we sat this Fab 3 down to dish, dissect, and deliver some backstage gossip about how they glammed up our Top 4 this week . Did you notice that Josh Krajcik was a wee bit tanner? Thank Kristofer for convincing the rocker into a little bronzer. As for his wardrobe, June's constantly trying to push the envelope there. "If you feel like Josh looked the same again [this week], send him the memos, not me!" says June. Our dearly departed Marcus Canty , meanwhile, had a last minute wardrobe change that involved literally ripping the clothes off his back and switching up his look last minute. "The stage manager got a little funky" over that one, confided June. We bet! Overall, the style team gives Chris Rene the "most improved" award for how he cleaned up this week. "Breakthrough moment for Chris Rene," said June. Ken loved the heavy part in his hair to go with the James Dean vibe. Kristofer revealed that he doesn't even try to cover up Chris' scar; instead he opts to keep it to stay true to whom he is. Last but not least, June loves dressing Melanie Amaro's curves. "I use clothing to manipulate the body. I live to celebrate woman's bodies and who they are," she says. And, Ken, l-o-v-e-d the ratty fishtail on her too! Good job!
